"Ultramaniacs" é a publicação do Ultraworld - o fã clube da familia Ultra no Brasil. Ultraman é uma série japonesa herdeira da tradição Godsilla, em que uma equipa de heróis, munida de um robot sofisticado, protege a terra de possíveis monstros extra-terrestres, sempre empenhados em dominar o Universo ou destruir o nosso querido planeta. Apesar dos temas e personagens serem tão pouco originais, há imensos fãs dessas séries, não só no Japão, onde essa paranóia hipocondríaca da radiactividade e do holocausto nuclear é compreensível, mas também noutros países (note-se, no entanto, que no Brasil existe uma geração de ascendência japonesa, à qual pertence o próprio editor da fanzine - Ricardo Matonkawa). A fanzine apresenta uma qualidade de impressão fora do vulgar no mundo das publicações underground (capa e contracapa a cores) e os artigos são muito divertidos. Dê uma olhada!
"Ultramaniacs" is the publication of Ultraworld - the fan club of the Ultra family in Brazil. Ultraman is a Japanese series inherited from the Godsilla tradition, in which a team of heroes, armed with a sophisticated robot, protects the earth from possible extra-terrestrial monsters, always bent on dominating the universe or destroying our beloved planet. In spite of the themes and characters being so unoriginal, there are many fans of these series, not only in Japan, where the hypochondriac paranoia of radioactivity and nuclear holocaust is understandable, but also in other countries (note, however, that in Brazil there is a generation of Japanese ancestry, to which the fanzine's editor - Ricardo Matonkawa - belongs). The fanzine presents a printing quality out of the ordinary in the world of underground publications (cover and back cover in color) and the articles are a lot of fun. Take a look!
