Bares Tiki, restaurantes Tiki, arte Tiki , música Tiki, Tiki no cinema, Tikis na música, Tikis em banda desenhada, Tikis em todo o lado! Mas o que é um Tiki? Um Tiki é uma figura totémica abundante na etnografia polinésia (por exemplo, as misteriosas cabeças da Ilha de Páscoa) e a que não pode negar-se um poder místico, ao mesmo tempo repulsor e sedutor. O universo paralelo Tiki e que preenche as páginas da fanzine é composto pelo imaginário das férias de sonho nas ilhas exóticas do pacífico, pelas tribos canibais que encolhem as cabeças do inocente turista americano nos filmes dos anos 50, pela música Easy Listening de Martin Denny ou Arthur Lyman (por exemplo), as danças hawaianas e os cocktails mirabulantes “Volcano Fizz” ou “Banana Cow”, entre outras cabeças fálicas. But what is a Tiki? A Tiki is a totemic figure that is abundant in Polynesian ethnography (for example, the mysterious heads on Easter Island) and which cannot be denied a mystical power that is both repulsive and seductive.
